Goibib Camp Sites

Goibib has 7 x Camp Sites available for hire.   The camp site is set in nature, with the natural wildlife of the area visiting throughout your stay.  Several camp sites have a concrete floor area approximately 5 x 3 metres constructed under shade cover for those very hot Namibian days.

There are camp sites available without the shade cover should you prefer to stargaze or watch the sunset.

Each campsite is equipped with a private built-in braai and grid as well as water and electricity to keep fridges cold or to charge your cell phone.  Each of the camp sites has a garbage bin for garbage.   Bags of wood are available for purchase.

Tent Accommodation Adventure

Goibib has something new to offer campers/guests.  We have been requested by some of our returning visitors that they would like to experience sleeping in the outdoors.

We have been requested to “pitch tents” so that “the kids among us” together with “our kids” could have an outdoor adventure experience.  To that end we have 5 tents, each tent measures 3 x 3 metres available for hire.  This includes mattress only (no bedding). Bedding is available at an additional N$75.00/bed fee.

1 tent accommodates 1 – 3 people N$160.00 per person plus N$150 per pitched tent and mattresses included. Additionally, we provide a table and camping chairs for your camp site experience.

Goibib Camping Kitchen

The outdoor camp kitchen is central to all camp sites.  It is equipped with an extra-long, double kitchen sink with running water, as well as some kitchen shelving and a table. It has electric power points and a ceiling light which makes it practical for use at night.  The tiled floor makes it easy to keep clean.

Goibib Ablution Block

It has been said that the Ablution block at Goibib is one of the very best available to the Namibian camper.

There is a Mans and a Ladies section available.  Each building comprises three individual bathrooms with a shower, handbasin and toilet set in a private room to accommodate the privacy of each user.

The building has been constructed in such a way that the water pipes have been laid under the fully tiled floors within, offering a warmth “especially in our Winter months” while you are getting dried after showering.  The Ablution block is clean and fresh and is fully serviced.
